Hello!

Welcome to The Collection. Apple City has taken the opportunity to assemble a collection of vehicles. Some are more common than others. Some are fairly rare. Apple City prefers vehicles that have not been fixed by others. I have found that there are those who will fix a vehicle in the poorest manner in order to sell the vehicle to some unsuspecting buyer. The buyer expects the vehicle to be as it were new. Depending on the manner in which the car was fixed, it might last a week or two or it might last for an extended time. If you buy a vehicle that clearly shows it's problems, you cannot go wrong. The problems are visible. If you choose to be offended by what I might say, you have the power not to listen. However, for those who choose, you might be rewarded with a lesson or two.

I will be introducing you to four different vehicles from the collection every month. The four selected will have similar characteristics. Apple City is not restricted to American vehicles. The auto manufacturers represented in the collection include:

From France: Simca and Renault

From Sweden: Volvo

From Germany: Volkswagon

From Japan: Toyota, Datsun, Honda

From Italy: Fiat

From England: The Rootes Group (Sunbeam, Singer, Hillman), Austin,

Austin-Healey, Triumph, Ford, Sunbeam-Talbot

From USA: General Motors Corporation: (1935 to 1950)

Chevrolet, Buick, Oldsmobile, Pontiac,

Ford (1935 to 1957),

Dodge and Plymouth (1935 to 1950),

Studebaker (1937 to 1953),

International Harvester (1953 to 1957),

Willys, Fageol, Gerstenslager, Wayne

Some of these manufacturers might be new to you. If they are, go to the web and do a search. You might find something remarkable! If you have a vehicle that you cherish, send me a photo and a story. I might use it here. Collecting anything is a disease. Collecting vehicles is not an uncommon disease. Traveling the country, picking up my treasures, I have met many interesting individuals. Here is a place where we can all meet and exchange interests. Contact me here at collection@applecitycollection.com .

I am not presently in the automobile restoration business. I intend to restore or modify or customize vehicles in the collection. It is one of my interests. I do have a network of individuals who are in the business, but it is not my intention to solicit auto restorations. I must strongly state that none of the vehicles in the collection are intended for resale. Do not expect me to be influenced by whatever offers you might make. I will aid you in your quest to find a vehicle. I also do not sell any parts. There are parts that I seek and am open to anyone who might have parts that I might require.
