Hello!

The next car is a Renault 4CV. Allow me to point out that I violated the rules again as set forth on the introductory page. I bought this car just as you see it.  The car is stock. It is a car that has been restored by the previous owner. I took a chance on this car. It is basically a well constructed car with an older restoration. I full well expected it to be a driver. This car is a rear engine, rear wheel drive, manual gear box, air cooled vehicle. The Renault was the first completely new car that appeared after the second world war. The reason? The French were working on this car during the war. Renault was not bothered by war time production. This car has a 6 volt system. The story was that it was driven onto the trailer for delivery, but it would not start upon it's arrival. I understand how cars work. I have cars that only I can drive. Just because only I know what it takes to get it to run. The previous owner was probably compensating for some minor short coming of the vehicle that I was not informed. I just need to spend some time with this car. It is unique in this country. It is very common in France. It was built in large numbers there. It is a four door sedan with suicide doors in the front. I will produce more photos, but it is the first day of spring. When it warms a bit, I will produce more photos.

If you find this interesting, do a web search for Renault 4CV.
